The Persian Gulf region was called Sinus Persicus in ancient times. It was a cultural meeting point for people from Asia, Europe and Africa. In this strategic area, historical accounts are interwoven with energy resources and political complications. But it is still a charmingly beautiful region packed with historical monuments, marvelous geological phenomena and natural wonders.

You will get the chance to enjoy local food and traditional souvenirs. Major tourist attractions in Iran including Persepolis Naqsh-e Jahan Square with its beautiful turquoise domes are also on the list. Highlights include:

Day 1
We begin our journey in Iran’s largest island, Qeshm. After arrival at the airport and being transferred to the hotel, we spend some time visiting the city which is next to the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
Day 2
We explore the mysterious nature of this island by visiting the first and only national geo park of Iran. Then we visit dhow boat workshops before enjoying the taste of local seafood. After lunch we visit amazing Mangrove trees as well as Laft village and its highlights including old wind-catchers, Naderi Castle and Tela wells before returning to the hotel.
Day 3
We cease the rare opportunity of seeing dolphins in their natural habitat. So we head to Hengam Island, a small oasis south of Qeshm Island. After enjoying local food and handicraft there we return to Qeshm and visit wondrous Khorbas caves before going to the hotel.
Day 4
On our third day in Qeshm, we head to the small island of Hormuz early in the morning and enjoy a local breakfast. By the noon we take a short excursion to the Portuguese Castle. After returning to Qeshm we eat lunch and visit other highlights in the island such as its historical castle and the Geo Park Museum.
Day 5
It is time to fly to Shiraz. In order to take the flight, we head to Bandar Abbas in the morning and fly to Shiraz after lunch time (1 hr). We arrive in the Shiraz in the evening. We get some rest to prepare for exploring one of the most charming cities of Iran.
Day 6
Our second day in Shiraz is dedicated to visiting Pasargadae (135 km from Shiraz) which is home to the remnants of the first Persian Garden and the tomb of the most popular Persian king Cyrus the Great. After having lunch and visiting Naqsh-e Rostam relief, we head to Persepolis- the glorious monumental ruins of ancient civilization of Persia with a total area of 125,000 square meters. Then we return to the hotel after entering the city through the Quran Gate.
Day 7
After arrival at the airport and transfer to hotel, our visits in the morning start with Karim Khan Citadel right at the center of the city and continue with Vakil historical complex with its bath, bazaar and mosque. Enjoying our lunch time in the heart of the city, we then go to Narenjestan-e Qavam Garden and Nasir al-Mulk Mosque then. Next up is the tomb of prominent Persian poet Saa’di with its mystic atmosphere at night. The tomb of Hafez will also be one of the everlasting scenes from Iran in our minds.
Day 8
We leave the hotel after breakfast to continue our way to one of the most beautiful cities of Iran, Isfahan (480 km). After having lunch on the way, we arrive in Isfahan in the afternoon. There will be enough time to spend the evening visiting two of the city’s main historical bridges, Si-o-se-pol and Khajou Bridge.
Day 9
We are going to spend an unforgettable day in Isfahan. We start the day by visiting Naqsh-e Jahan Square with the four highlights located around it: Imam Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Ali Qapu and the Traditional Bazaar. After enjoying our lunch near one of the world’s largest squares, we head to Hasht Behesht and Chehel Sotun Palace.
Day 10
We leave the hotel to head to the Iranian capital Tehran (450 km) in the afternoon. Before that there is still enough time to keep on exploring Isfahan by going to Vank Cathedral and Jameh Mosque of Isfahan, which is a stunning example of the evolution of the mosque architecture over twelve centuries. We get to Tehran at night.
Day 11
It’s the last day of our trip. To learn about the history of Iran’s capital, we visit some highlights such as Golestan Palace Complex, Iran National Museum and the National Jewelry Museum. We then enjoy our farewell dinner in Iran in a traditional restaurant.
Day 12
Leaving Iran
And finally it’s time to bid farewell to Iran as we are transferred to the airport early in the morning for our return flight home.
